I was born and raised in Germany. Graduated from Zentgrafen Schule in Frankfurt Germany. Married my husband who was in the US military in January of 1966 and moved to the US. After spending 6 month in Fort Knox Kentucky he was again transferred back to Germany for another two year tour of juty. We welcomed our son into our lives in Dec. of 1966 and returned to the US in 1968.

Five years later I found my self as a single mother raising my child and taking night classes at the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona. Took a job at United Pacific Reliance Ins. Co. (Personal Lines Department). Also studied and took my state exam for a real estate license and cosmetology license during that time.

I moved to Mammoth Lakes in 1981 to go to work for Red Carpet Real Estate, but the housing market took a drop and I was forced to change me profession. Went to work for Mammoth Lakes Hospital (Office Manager/Admitting Supervisor).

During that time I developed a passion for horses as a hobby and decided to move to Bishop to get out of the snow and took a job managing a Dr.’s office and durable medical equipment company.

My passion for horses is what made me decide to move to Penn Valley and build my own Equestrian Center, developing and running my business for the past 30 years.

In 2005 I also purchased a home in Lake Wildwood and enjoyed the game of golf. Joined the niners group in 2010. I retired in June of 2017 and sold the business.

Now that I have the time, I would like to get more involved in our golf community, meet new people and play different courses. I’m looking forward to joining the Board of Directors in 2018.
